
Caldera announces the release of Caldera Direct-to-Film V1.2.2

Caldera is happy to announce the launch of Caldera Direct-to-Film (DTF) V1.2.2, a solution designed to improve and simplify Direct-to-Film printing. This release introduces a set of innovative features that improve print quality and user experience.
Among the new features of Caldera Direct-to-Film V1.2.2 is the ability to configure ICC profile generation. This advancement allows users to fine-tune color profiles, ensuring precise color reproduction and consistency across various media types. Additionally, the software’s new version introduces a varnish pretreatment coat inks, providing an extra layer of protection and enhancing the accuracy of prints on diverse fabrics.
To further improve user experience, Caldera Direct-to-Film offers a new visual feedback that displays the loading status for larger PDF files. This feature streamlines the processing of complex designs, reducing wait times and enhancing user experience. The software also includes a ‘Copies’ field in module panels, simplifying the duplication of designs and improving overall productivity.
In the studio environment, Caldera Direct-to-Film V1.2.2 introduces image overlap functionality, allowing users to optimize media usage by efficiently arranging images, particularly in transparent areas. This feature reduces waste and material costs, contributing to a more sustainable printing process.
Furthermore, Caldera Direct-to-Film provides direct access to the Caldera Helpdesk from within the interface. This integration ensures prompt assistance and support, enabling users to resolve issues swiftly and maintain uninterrupted production.
The new version supports for DTF printers, including the Mimaki TxF150 and TxF300, the M&R Quatro 68, and the RS Transfer Pro. These printers are renowned for their advanced technology and reliability in DTF printing, making them ideal partners for Caldera Direct-to-Film.
