Launching PrimeCenter 4.0
Caldera is excited to announce the release of PrimeCenter 4.0, a major update designed to make job preparation easier and speed up production for print companies of all sizes. This update introduces a more simple interface and automation features that allow users to prepare files for production in just a few clicks.
“PrimeCenter 4.0 is all about making job preparation faster and easier,” said Isabelle Muligo, Product Manager at Caldera. “By enhancing automation, simplifying navigation, and introducing step-by-step guidance, we’re enabling businesses to remove bottlenecks and focus on what really matters—getting their jobs ready for production. This release represents a major evolution for PrimeCenter. We’ve refined the user experience without altering the workflows our customers depend on, ensuring a seamless transition to a more efficient way of working.”
At the heart of PrimeCenter 4.0 is a centralized hub that streamlines access to recent projects and recipes, offering a seamless way for seasoned users to pick up where they left off. Newcomers can easily begin with pre-configured templates that eliminate the challenge of starting from scratch. Step-by-step tutorials guide users through the recipe creation process, ensuring that even those new to the software can automate their file preparation with confidence.
Templates also play a pivotal role in PrimeCenter 4.0. Users can accelerate job preparation with pre-configured recipes for sticker sheets, banner rolls, two-sided banners, yard signs, and DTF sheets. These templates can be customized to suit specific needs, ensuring flexibility across a variety of large-format printing applications.
Navigation within PrimeCenter has also been streamlined. The vertical navigation bar organizes the software into clearly defined sections. It makes it easier than ever to move between software modules and manage workflows efficiently.
New drivers and features
This version also adds support for Summa GoProduce, making file setup smooth for Summa flatbed cutters. This change gives users more cutting options and makes it easier to work with different setups.
Finally, PrimeCenter 4.0 also enhances existing packages to deliver more value to current users. Pro package customers now benefit from automatic export, eliminating manual steps and making the flow from setup to print faster. Essentials users can now apply input profiles with one click, helping keep colors steady and cutting down on setup time.
PrimeCenter 4.0 will be available for download in March 2025 through CalderaDock.
