Caldera Direct-to-Film 2.5 brings a more streamlined approach to color management and workflow consistency, helping DTF production teams standardize device configurations, preserve color preferences, and deploy consistent setups across production environments.

Simplify Spectrophotometer Configuration

Managing spectrophotometer configurations is now more flexible. With DTF 2.5, configurations for spectrophotometer devices can be imported and exported directly through Devices and Presets.

This makes it easier for teams to standardize measurement workflows, streamline device configuration, and deploy consistently across fleets or customer sites.

For businesses operating multiple RIP stations or managing standardized production workflows, the ability to efficiently transfer device configurations reduces setup time, improves consistency, and accelerates deployment.

Take Greater Control of Spot Colors

Version 2.5 also introduces important enhancements to the Spot Colors Module, giving users more control over how favorite spot color mappings are managed and transferred.

This makes it easier for teams to preserve their configured spot color preferences when sharing or moving presets between systems. By including favorite spot color mappings with exported and imported presets, teams can maintain consistent color workflows, reduce manual reconfiguration, and accelerate setup across devices or customer sites.

A New Spot Colors Library

Caldera DTF 2.5 also adds a new Spot Colors Library within Global Settings.

The library provides a centralized place to:

Import spot color mappings
Export spot color mappings
Manage favorite Simulated::Lab spot color mappings
