CalderaRIP Supports the Epson SureColor SC-S8100

Caldera is happy to announce the support of Epson’s latest signage printer, the SureColor SC-S8100 for CalderaRIP software. This new addition reinforces Caldera’s commitment to providing high-performance drivers for the latest printing technology in the signage and large-format printing industry.
Unveiled as part of Epson’s new generation of large-format signage printers, the SC-S8100 is engineered for high-speed, high-quality output, making it an ideal solution for print shops producing indoor and outdoor signage, POS materials, backlit displays, wall coverings, and vehicle wraps. With its dual 4-color (CMYK x2) UltraChrome GS3 eco-solvent inkset and PrecisionCore TFP printheads, it delivers outstanding color accuracy and print durability at production-level speeds.
CalderaRIP users can now take full advantage of the SC-S8100’s advanced features, including:
- Increased Productivity: The new PrecisionCore Micro TFP printhead boosts nozzle count from 7,200 to 9,600 and speeds up printing in all modes, improving both output and quality.
- User-Friendly Design: The SC-S8100 features a 4.3-inch touchscreen for easy control. Users can easily monitor ink levels, printer status, and replace ink while printing to reduce downtime and stay productive.
- Reliable Operation: With Nozzle Verification Technology (NVT), the printer automatically detects and fixes nozzle issues. A media cleaner also prevents dust from affecting print quality.
