Caldera releases PrimeCenter 4.2

Caldera is happy to announce the release of PrimeCenter 4.2, the latest version of its prepress automation solution, designed to automate production for sign shops, print service providers, and wide-format businesses.
PrimeCenter 4.2 introduces several key features that give users full control over their automated workflows, improve scheduling flexibility, and simplify file processing, all while expanding device compatibility to meet current production demands.
Users can now force layout generation to occur exactly when needed, without being constrained by media coverage percentages or scheduled times. This gives greater control over the production process, enabling teams to stay agile and responsive without sacrificing quality or workflow efficiency.
The new version allows programming of up to five separate batch schedules per day, letting users specify precise times for layout generation. This added flexibility helps prevent last-minute adjustments, optimize workload distribution, and keep production on track.
PrimeCenter 4.2 automatically allows the possibility to find your files faster by sorting them in new ways. You can now sort your files by name or import date, ascending or descending. This simplifies file processing and saves you significant time.
This release also enlarges compatibility with a generic driver that generates cut files in XML format, which is compatible with a wide range of cutters.
