September 21, 2020
Caldera supports the new series of Canon flatbeds
Caldera has announced the release of new Canon Arizona 2300 Series drivers for CalderaRIP. These new drivers expand Caldera’s long list of supported peripherals for large-format digital printing.
Launched in early September 2020, the Canon Arizona 2300 series has been designed for speeding up large-format printing production while improving operator efficiency. This new series of printers has varying ink channel options available to support a diverse range of applications.
Compared to the previous Canon Arizona 2200 series, the new 2300 series is built around Arizona FLOW technology, a new system which better secures the substrate to the table in order to increase productivity.
Five drivers have been released to adapt to the various ink configurations (4, 6, or 8 inks) and flatbed size (GTF or XTF):
- Both sizes (GTX/XTF) with 4 colors: Canon-Arizona-2340 (CMYK)
- Compact GTF models with a flatbed area of 1.25m x 2.5m and double white configuration: Canon-Arizona-2360-CMYKWW and CMYKcmWW
- Specific large XTF models with a flatbed area of 2.5m x 3.08m, and white and varnish configuration: Canon-Arizona-2360-CMYKWV and CMYKcmWV
