Caldera has released the latest version of its flagship RIP software for sign, industrial and textile inkjet printing: Caldera RIP V11.1 is already available on Caldera Usernet and via the online notification functionality.
Following its business strategy, Caldera has concentrated its efforts on improving the existing modules in order to offer users enhanced color management, more automation possibilities, an improved ink savings average, and more complete finishing tools.
More flexibility with EasySelect
EasySelect enables Caldera RIP to use the size and type of loaded media in the printer. It allows users to print directly on the loaded media, so decreasing loading errors.
The level of integration depends on the manufacturer and the model.

More accuracy with Exponential Targets
Exponential Targets in EasyMedia allows improved ink linearisation when the ink limit
needs to be very low to avoid bleeding or oversaturation. Thanks to this new scale, users can reach a new level of color management accuracy, improving color reproduction when printing on coated media.

Lettering and Canvas with PrintBleed
The V11.1 PrintBleed interface has been completely rewritten in response to customer feedback, enabling superior lettering and canvas finishing. In conjunction with Caldera ContourNesting, it gives users the ability to master Print&Cut workflows as never before.
10% more ink savings with InkPerfomer
The new version saves up to 10% more ink compared to last version, while maintaining the same quality and color accuracy.
Improved G7 out of the box
The new version of the G7 option gives better linearisation corrections for a better G7 experience.
P2P51 targets are now included for G7 linearization and PrintStandardVerifier.
