Multi-page Collate

Multi-page PDF printing is more and more frequent in wide-format printing.
Caldera now allows choosing between:

• Assembled printing : repetition of pages “1 to n”
• Printing all Page 1’s , then all page 2’s…

Raster2PDF

Removes the size limitations for some raster file formats (especially TIFF). Improves processing of raster files by using performances of the APPE engine.

Japanese language support

The following process control features are now optimized for use in the RIP v9.10 :

• Printing and measuring of Color Charts (including FOGRA Media Wedge) directly from the Print application or Easymedia (Caldera’s color profiling solution) interfaces
• Compliancy report with the following standards and certifications from EasyMedia:
  • ISO 12647-2
  • ISO12647-7
  • ISO 12647-8
  • PSD Absolute (Process Standard Digital)
  • PSD Relative(Process Standard Digital)
  • PSO (Process Standard Offset)

  Caldera users can now ensure conformity to FOGRA certification of their printing process.

Textile Step & Repeat

Textile Step&Repeat

The new version includes an integrated Step & Repeat module optimized for pattern repetition for printing textiles or other graphics that need to be seamlessly repeated.

• Pattern repetition control by applying the right shifts
• The « Detect drop » button will compute automatically the right drop to apply.

This textile optimized feature is also included in our new RIP solutions optimized for textile applications: VisualTEX+ and GrandTEX+.

A new tool for managing the Optical Brighteners Compensation process and creating profiles that take into consideration optical brighteners.

Requires a suitable spectrophotometer:

• X-Rite i1 Pro2 or Caldera ColorPad
• Caldera TotalColor or Caldera Swing by adding a physical filter

PrintBoard

VariableDisplay PrintBoard

The new Print Board plug-in for Variable Display is the first display solution of its kind to interact directly with a RIP engine. The plug-in will allow users of Caldera’s RIP software to show an overview of their production activity on screen for all employees to see, with information including which files have recently been added to the spooler, and the number of square meters processed daily by the RIP.
